That's less than the $99 upgrade for those of us with Trash 1.

Great deal! Trash 2 lives on my Stylus or EZDrummer bus and really brings them to life. Have a few faves in the Classic expansion and just adjust the wet/dry to taste. Secret weapon!

From PSP:
For next 100 hours only you can buy one or more products (including paid upgrades) from our online store at a 35% discount.
Cheers,
BK

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

UVI Deal Free Steinway D with purchase - works with iLOK dea

Post by mikehalloran »

http://www.uvi.net/en/store

Through today, UVI is giving a Steinway D download with purchase. I bought a synth and decided to get an iLOK II with the $78 rebate since some are requiring it now -- it wasn't clear if that was part of the "free D deal" or not but I liked the $78 rebate for the future.

Anyway, I received two Steinway D download serial numbers after registering. Hmmmm... Wasn't expecting that. If my daughter has an iLOK account, I'll turn her onto one of those.

After complaining last month to Izotope that I could buy Trash 2 new for less than the upgrade from Trash 1, I logged in yesterday and noticed that Izotope dropped the upgrade price to $49. So I pulled the trigger. It came with the two expansion/preset packs.

I don't use it much but sometimes a percussion or bass track can use a bit of thickening and this is the perfect tool.

Retro Organs Suite - $83.50

Post by mikehalloran »

I just got bombarded by the announcement for UVI's Retro Organs Suite for $99. I bet everyone here did.
http://www.uvi.net/en/pianos-keyboards/ ... suite.html

Anyway, AudioDeluxe has it for $83.50 with the coupon SUMMERTIME.
https://audiodeluxe.com/

Apparently, the Hammond samples from Retro Organs are included. Owning Retro Organs already when it was offered for $49 a few years ago, I can upgrade for $59 from UVI.

I really like Retro Organs but don't know that I want the other keyboards as some are duplicated in other VIs I own. I have other B3 emulators also.

It's too easy to "only $59" my way into the poorhouse. Still, I might go for it.

Hornet Graffio

Post by stubbsonic »

I heard about a pretty inexpensive multi-band distortion plug-in called Graffio.

I haven't dug in to much with it yet, but it seems pretty solid. It only has one type of drive, but for each of 3 bands, you can set drive levels, DC offset, odd & even exciter levels, and a bit-reduction module. The distortion type is described as "Transistor" which I don't think is all that useful. I did ask the developer if other types of distortion might be added later.

When I got it, it was on sale. But even at it's regular price it is pretty inexpensive. Not a great distortion sound, but with the odd & even thing and 3 band, it has some unique qualities to it.

Also noticed Waves is putting the L3-16 Multimaximizer on sale for $199. Not exactly cheap, but apparently marked down significantly.

If you're a PSP customer, you probably have additional discounts available. I spent the $18 to get NobleQ – and it does include PSP NobleQex. I've not played with it much but it doesn't really duplicate anything I have. $18, I'm good.

I don't really need yet another compressor.
