Lots of useful sounds (1.3 GB)
It does requires you to have an iLok account.

Whoah! Frankly, I can't imagine any possible use for it. But I have a buck and ya never know when a new sound needs to be found, right?
I've had it for a while (nearly 10 years?!) and never found a use for it.

I didn't have a problem when I bought it from the Plugin Boutique website.
I was immediately sent an email with my download links and serial number.
It can also be downloaded directly from my account with them.

(You've probably already checked, but maybe your email was sent to your junk or spam folder.)

EDIT: Sorry, I just checked the email they sent me and it only had the instructions on how to get the software and retrieve my serial number. I actually had to log in to my account to be able to download it and get the serial number.

Could they make that any harder to find? No mention of "here's a link" just this. All links included below.
1. Download your relevant Xpand!2 installer and run the setup. ( MAC or PC) and run the setup.
MAC
http://cdn.inmusicbrands.com/air/x.7/OS ... _Setup.dmg

PC
http://cdn.inmusicbrands.com/air/x.7/WI ... _Setup.zip

Thanks again for your help, guys.

If I recall, this is free with Pro Tools First. Believe me, you don't want to go there.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the downloading. When I click on the link I posted, I'm taken to the Plugin Boutique website with the info about the deal for Expand2.

At the top of the page is a login button and when I login and go to my account, the software is there for me to download along with the serial number to register it.

I had no trouble at all so maybe the trouble was just some sort of glitch.

I hope it all works out. There are some nice sounds for layering and general mangling.

It's strange and fun. You can create sounds unlikely to be found any other way. Can't say I've found that much practical use for it, however.

I certainly wish I'd only paid $49.

I am a big fan of Trash—it was part of the first bundle I bought from Izotope years ago. Watch any of the YouTube instructional videos to see how many ways it can be used.

Of all the plugs I have, this falls in the small sub category of "must have" in my book. It is often my go-to when I want to make an instrument stand out in a mix without making it louder. I use it subtly but you can lay it on thick for special effect if you want.

Indent (Trash like distortion) Plugin Free for Limited Time

Post by mikehalloran »

New Modular Distortion Plugin Free for a Limited Time!

Indent appears to be a Trash like plugin.
https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/mycart.html

Adding a touch of distortion on certain tracks can sometimes work wonders—bass, kick & toms, vocals, guitars, of course.... Izotope Trash is great for this and on sale but this may be handy.

Can't knock the price.

Edit. Played with it a little. It's quite simple compared to Izotope Trash. Only 6 settings and four presets. Many will find this useful.

+1.

Does wonders for a sterile sounding drum loop, and even makes a great sounding drumkit sound better. It lives on my drum bus after Alloy 2. I've found a few favorites from the Classic add-on that I use most often, and as Mike said just mix to taste.

I really should try it on more instruments but can verify it's a must have for drums.
