Hi everyone
I am working on some 432 Hz tuning songs. Is there a way to set the pitch reference for the pitch correction layer in DP? Otherwise I see everything a little of and it is more difficult to work on the pitch correction.

Re: Pitch reference preference
Yes, it's done in preferences. Preferences>Display>Data Display. It's at the bottom of that page.

Re: Pitch reference preference
No problem. I believe the pitch reference is a little off. If you record a pure tone at 440 and check it's pitch you'll find that DP says it's slightly sharp. I've found that setting it to 441 makes the grid line up with the music better. I've reported this to MOTU and they assure me that it's dead on. OK, yeah right. Anyway, if you are having problems at 432, you may find that setting it at 433 works out better.

Re: Pitch reference preference
I'm one of the first guys who will proudly tout the virtues and general awesomeness of DP's Pitch Correction. It truly is my favorite tool for that sort of thing. However, I've always noticed this strange anomaly and it has always annoyed me. Phil, just like you say, DP sees a true A 440 sine wave as being slightly sharp. If you nudge it down, so it snaps to the grid, things go off. Play back the original file at the same time as the "corrected" file, and you'll hear a very unfriendly chorus/flange effect because of the discrepancy between the two pitches. I still am not sure what the best approach is to make things truly homogeneous (for lack of a better term).
