Pencil Draw in Quick Filter

Post by massimosammi »

Hello there,
I would need a suggestion about this:

I have to use some CCs for a project (3, 14, 15, 23, 24) that are not in the list that DP has in the MIDI editor (1, 7, 2, 5, 6, 10, 11).

So I create them using the "Other..." option and with the pencil tool I draw the curves for them.

Then later I need to draw some other changes to the curves I just drew for these CCs.

Instead of going again to the "Other..." menu, I click on one of them, select the Quick Filter and only the selected controller appears.

I select the Pencil Tool but when I go to the CC area of the MIDI editor, the pencil tool doesn't appear, it only shows up in the piano roll. I'm only allowed to edit the curves with single points.

Is there a way to use the pencil tool within the Quick Filter view?

Thanks in advance for your help!
