Waves V-Comp $29 till midnight EST 4/16

Post by James Steele »

AudioDeluxe has a special deal going on Waves V-Comp for $29 for one day only. I don't know much about this plug, but I'm gonna go read some reviews.

Love it on acoustic guitars. Even with all the newer plugs, its still a great comp. I think for 29$, you'll feel pretty good about your purchase.

Ha! The first step is admitting it, you know.

I was not so easily tempted. I have a lot of compressor plugins already.

All well and good... I just go the email from AudioDeluxe (not Waves) telling me about it. Buy it wherever you like. :)

Say it... saaay iiit!

Even if I'd started buying plugs, which I haven't yet, I'd avoid Waves like the Plagues.

Seen too much pain caused by said company. Careful they don't suck you in, Jimbo. I mean, surely that's the idea here?

Well I'm not paying my WUP, so if one day they break, so be it.

It's too late for me, I've been neck deep with Waves for ages. :surrender:

Actually though I just paid my WUP. $300 which takes me to the end of 2016, so that's not too bad considering I own Platinum and a bunch of other single plugins. But yeah, they do coax you in slowly, step by step, until you no longer can see the exit of the Waves tunnel of WUP.

That's my deal with them, wait until a sale and buy if it makes sense to, but if it breaks with an OS or DAW upgrade, then I'm done.
I will say tech support is pretty cool, solved all my issues with the plug ins in one conversation, all the way from Israel!
M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.
