…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

A) That would be a lot of work. A LOT of work.
B) Someone like Magic Dave from MOTU would have to come here and specifically ask for someone to do that, and assure us that it's MOTU's wish that it be done.
C) That would be a lot of work. A LOT of work.

It might not be pay for just word count, they might only pay for words that count.

The best bet would be to post a want ad on any site that allows. It's highly unlikely that anyone has scanned an obsolete 500 page manual. One may find an old copy that someone will sell, however.

I get the feeling this was a joke post. Possibly from a group in another forum, awaiting our predictable responses. It's nice to be so well-known!

OS X is a passing fad. First, the resurrection of OS 8, next the Apple II...

It's not hard for me to believe that someone might want a Mosaic manual, I guess. But, yeah... scanning a hardcopy manual, even if MOTU would not mind, is a non-trivial undertaking. Of course you can *ask*... but it would take HOURS to do so. Maybe you can find a manual on eBay?
