Quantize Audio from a MIDI track

Post by csiaudio »

Hi,

I'm quite sure this has probably been covered but my search is coming up empty.

I have an audio bass track and he is all over the place. I have a MIDI kick track which I'd like to quantize the bass track to thus locking him on to the kick...is this possible? If so, how do I do that?

If someone can either go through it or point me to a thread that would be great.

Thanks

Sounds like a job for Groove Quantize. See bottom of p 552 where is says:

■ Extract a groove from MIDI data and apply it to other audio or MIDI tracks
