question about moving to 64 bit architecture

Post by donreynolds »

I have progressed from 32 bit to 64 bit. Is there anything special that I need to do with my computer for DP? Do I need to upgrade from 7.24 to 8?

I know I am going to have to go through all my plugs and get any new updates for compatibility for Osx 10.8.5 and this computer I assume.

Well, I downloaded the Ilok manager and it shows all my plugs on my Ilok but DP is not recognizing the ILOK??
Now sure how to make sense of the new ILOK manager window. It says I have all my plugs activated on my ILOK2 in the left pane, but none are available on my computer? ( 0 activations)

My ILOK is lit up and connected in the same USB slot it always has but the computer will not recognize it.
any ideas guys?
Thanks

7.24 is not 74 bit AFAIK. So if you have 64 bit plugs they likely won't show up. It may be that simple.

I see. Thanks. So I guess I need to move up to DP 8 for compatibility?

If you want to use 64 bit, I'm 99 and 44/100% sure.

That sounds like the incredible piano sample library, Dial, the 99 and 44/100% pure piano library. The other 36/100 of a percent is full of Lava.
