hi all,
I can't for the life of me find a way to get out of full screen mode in DP and Yosemite. Tried the various keyboard commands, escape, looking for the green button in the top left hand corner, help topics, etc, but other than closing the project, no other way to exit full screen.
Any tips are appreciated, thanks!

Go to the top-left corner. Wait for the menu-bar to appear. Move the Control Panel out of the way. You'll see the green button, then. Click it while repeating "there's no place like home," and you're home.

PS: If you've got the Control Panel imbedded into the Consolidated Windows, you'll have to start with Preferences, and change it back to "floating."

I mean, really! Can't we have a fix for this in DP8 before having to upgrade to 9?

Well, technically, it ain't broke.
But it IS awkward.
Still, you're right. They oughta put those little arrows over on the right corner, or something, so that it's easy to find.

It's a bug which I reported to Motu as soon as it occurred -they said it would be sorted in an update but it looks as if we will have to wait till DP9. Full screen mode only works in consolidated windows mode.

Yes- in CW mode getting in/out of full screen is easy. I'm always in CW mode now. Used to hate it. Now it's essential.
