Vienna Ensemble Pro will add MAS support !!

Post by buhardilla »

Did you know about this next new feature in VEP?, I think it will be a great improvement. This was posted recently in the Vienna forum and signed by a Vienna employer:

You will habe to turn oft pre-rendering in the audio Plugin settings.

On a side note, next update of VEPro adds a MAS plugin, which improves operation in DP considerably, adding multiple MIDI ports, tighter timing and proper latency compensation.

This sounds like very good news, both for DP users and MOTU.

Which announcement is true? That they are phasing out MAS, or that Vienna will be supporting MAS? I hope the first one is an error and the second one is true. If it's the other way around it's a really dirty joke. That said, I would love to see Vienna support MAS.

Oh, I just saw the announcement from Paul at Vienna. I guess it's really true. Wow, this is really exciting!

That is AWESOME news from VSL. I am looking forward to being able to put MOTU plugins in the VE Pro mixer. What a great development and salute to us DP users.
