Important update to Arturia Matrix 12V released.

On January 29th, Arturia released another update for their Matrix 12V synth which addresses
a lot of issues, including hung notes and certain patches not sounding at all. There is a new
bank of presets in this update, and voice-stealing is now off by default.

Just FYI for any Motunationers who have this synth (if you don't, I highly recommend it, it
does sound great).

Thanks, David. I do recall that one having some issues although I can't remember the specifics.

Cool -- I'll have to check when I did my last update, as my copy has the same presets as before and still is almost silent on a lot of patches, even with 24 dB of gain applied.

Update: I forgot that the new software center app makes this very quick and easy. Indeed, my Matrix-12V was not quite up-to-date, so I am downloading/installing now. Hopefully tomorrow I can re-track some parts and compare.

I thought I had tracked a few parts with Matrix-12V but my project annotation only showed one occurrence (I may have given up on it and replaced other parts with other sources already).

Trying a few sounds and comparing to before, it seems they've tweaked the ASDR envelope to be smoother on this update (it too easily pushed from nothing to a blare before).

The volume levels are sane now; I no longer need to max them out and can leave them be.

I didn't have time to audition the gazillion new patches that are included, but look forward to it when I get back to tracking new parts; I'm focused on mixing a few months worth of recordings!

There's been another update, as well as to Solina V. I think these might have gone live after I last updated Matrix-12V, so hopefully after rehearsal tonight I can update them both and give them a whirl.

Also, I might get brave and re-enable them as Audio Units vs. VST.

The Solina V update allows me to now use it as an Audio Unit vs. VST. All of my Arturia plug-ins are now passing the AU test, after the last few rounds of updates from mid-to-late December onwards.
