Ok, who believes there is no chance in hell of that happening before the Fall ... as always. Hmmm... All the same hands...
Just so it's out there, my guess is around June. It's always possible they get it out on time, and always possible you're right about it being more like September, but they think Spring, I think Summer.

Both 7 and 8 shipped in September after January announcements. DP 5 & 6 shipped in April. Anything is possible, of course.

I read DP 6 had shipped in April but couldn't remember. July makes more sense. I probably went back to 5 by September.

It's possible it shipped in April, but I was all over that upgrade. I'm pretty sure I'd have been one of the first to get it. Usually, my invoices represent the first day of shipping, as I pre-order as soon as they start taking orders. Plus, I found this post by Frodo on June 28, 2008:
http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtop ... 52#p233652
  • " I tend to agree with the others that taking the leap to a much later version would be a wise move. 5.13 can be had today, and like MLC says, DP6 is only a matter of weeks away."
...which puts it squarely in July.
