Is there a way to have new tracks (MIDI, Instrument and Audio) appear with automation enabled (Play/Latch) by default? I always use automation on tracks, so this would save a lot of repetitive mousing around.

Setup/Automation Setup...
Then, in "Track Automation Configutation" select a MIDI track or an audio track and enable the automation recording mode that you want.
Below, you can save it as "default for MIDI track" or "default for audio tracks".
