I just bought some great drum tracks from an online retailer.
These came with Stems, Full Mix, and a MidiTempoMap....which is really useful.
Which got me thinking ... how do I create one of these myself?
Here's what I'm thinking ... taking either the kick/snare/hat tracks and somehow creating a tempo meter map from the transients. Thus, keeping the "human" feel of the drum track but being able to quantize any MIDI stuff TO the drum/tempo map versus editing the drums to the steady grid.
Is this possible?
