Twin monitors doesn't seem to be an issue but the addition of more TB devices can make it so.

Belkin makes a TB dock with two TB ports out and a TB2 dock with two TB2 ports plus another HDMI port.

Are Technica has reviewed the new mini, and as expected, performance on floating point calculations is about half of that on the older i7 models. Seems the mini has reverted back to its original role as a cheap entry level product.
