Mackie Control (Grey/MIDI one) with Yosemite/DP8?

Post by gongbass »

My 2009 Mac Pro has given me 5 solid years of near perfect performance. I'm about ready to let it take over my old G5's "back up/occasional soft synth host". Waiting to see if the Intel Grantley Mac Pro's are announced. In addition to needing a new MOTU Thunderbolt interface, I was curious to hear if anyone has a new Mac Pro, runs DP8 and uses an older Mackie Control successfully?

I'm still on DP 7.24 but will upgrade to 8 as soon as I move to new machine. I'm really hoping the Mackie Control still works. I have the MIDI one that's dark grey. Any experience or input would deb helpful!
