I am trying this setup with mix bus 2.5 and DP8. I have got the audio routed and working but I hit a snag while trying to setup transport sync. DP doesn't follow Mixbus when I use its transport though the set-up seems correct. Could you have a look at tell me if I got it right on the DP end? Is there something I'm missing?
I was never able to get this going either. I ended up porting the audio over to Mixbus and doing everything there, and then never used it again. If you get it working, I'd appreciate hearing how it's done.
I have to ask: Do you have Slave To External Sync on, and with it on, have you hit DP's Play button to put DP into wait mode (DP's play button will blink)?
I recall the play button blinking. But the sync was inconsistent and didn't happen at all most of the time. I had hoped by now the authors would have made a standard plugin and made the Ardour link unnecessary.
Jeez. I just went back to look at how I did this with DP 7.24 and MixBus 2.3. Now with DP 8 and Mixbus 2.5, I can't even get audio routing back and forth.

It all relies on Jack doing all the routing. Cumbersome but once setup with templates it becomes a quickie.

Yes, I have Jack running. I had it all set up before, but at this point DP isn't showing anything that can be used to route audio through Jack to MixBuss. It doesn't really matter at this point -- I have no immediate plan to use MixBuss and when I do, I'll look at the documentation more thoroughly.
