Not to sound like a Krass Kurmudgeon, but the NI marketing Kadre aren't Krazy about your spelling of their Karefully Krafted product name. Kall me Kooky! :D
I got tired of retyping every time I tried to spell Kontakt, and it corrected it to "Contact." Sue Apple. And I STILL don't know what 10.7 is.
Hahaha... I have to tell you... Mac autocorrect drives me mad sometimes! I think they need to refine the algorithm do understand that if we back up and re-type something it changed more than once, BELIEVE US that we want to spell something that way!

Say, you got a 10-20 on that 10-7? 10-4

Now I remember why we don't remember the 1970s. Burt Reynolds was actually a STAR!

And now 10.7 makes sense, I guess, though we usually write it as OS X 7.0 or 7.1, etc., don't we? Now that we actually have OS X 10.1, also written 10.10.1, it gets very confusing.

I had to go back and check the context in which 10.7 appeared, and it makes perfect sense, though I'd kind of forgotten about OS X 10.7 long ago. Sorry for the lapse.

Nope; all the developers (and end users, managers, etc.) I know use 10.x to refer to OS X releases.

The recent Kontakt update is a huge improvement. I had numerous problems w/ the previous update from FEB 2014. I can't remember if the current version is available to everyone, as I did do the Ultimate 10 upgrade/update so would be eligible regardless.

Not sure which "it" you mean, but the latest Kontakt is 5.4.2, and solves a lot of minor annoyances and problems on my system with libraries that I had to rebuild from backup drives.

Well, it is all for naught as I am running 10.6.2 so will have to wait. Glad the NI service center mentions this or I would have installed and broken Kontakt.

Oh, sorry to hear; I forgot that was the version where they bumped the minimum specs.

Actually, the installers are very smart. I downloaded a few contact updates and none of them would work because of my OS. So well done to contact for not screwing up my system LOL
