Can DP control other apps/computers via OSC
The tech for a theatre project I'm working on asked me if he could sync the video for the production to my DP sequence via OSC. I know DP can be controlled via OSC, but I can't figure out if it can control other apps. Can DP do this? Thx!

I don't have any direct experience, but DP's ability to pipe MIDI controls via inter-application MIDI has always worked well when I've used it.
I know. Not helpful.

To follow up in case anyone else is looking for the info. Turns out DP is very OSC compatible. The theatre tech had little problem integrating DP into the production once we figured out the correct syntax - ascertained from a quick call to MOTU who were surprisingly knowledgeable about this relatively obscure feature.

FWIW, Quickeys can be set to trigger via a MIDI message and that let's you do pretty much anything the Mac can do.
