Pretty cool new reverb
Bit pricey but not if you compare to a lexicon 480 L etc.
Interesting concept of combining various reverbs...

$327. That's not an impulse purchase (at least for me). And yes, pun intended.
There's a demo to try too, I noticed.
Seems a hard market for reverbs these days...so many competent ones on the market. Hard to stand out.

Why not open a couple Proverbs with different settings all receiving the same send for free.

A Lexus is not that expensive if you compare it to a Lamborghini. A Honda will also get you there and leave a few bucks for gas.

Re: Pretty cool new reverb
It really sounds great, and it is a good idea.. but I have so many great reverb plugins now, and it is pricey.
A Lamborghini is not that expensive when you compare it to a Cessna Citation.

Re: Pretty cool new reverb
Yeah, well what about a nuclear sub? Huh? Huh! And they barely make a noise.
Re: Pretty cool new reverb
OK I've got a Toyota 2001 and some used computers so that's where I'm coming from.
And 2 broken Lexicon PCM 70's that maybe one day I can cull together the parts from 1 for the
other and so far that's been my favorite reverb.

Can someone explain to me how this is different from RedWirez MixIR2 - for (ahem) $50 - other than that it adds those oh-so-hard-to-find effects known as EQ and compression after the IR chain?

To me this looks like OverPriced's time-honored tradition of doing some nice, chunky UI design that a lot of consumers apparently find authoritative, and then ballsily charging way too much for something that isn't worth the price relative to the competition. Breverb was example A. This kinda looks to be example B.

Maybe you're paying for the label?

You've forgotten about the Russian subs for sale in the mid 90s. Cheap as Ladas.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Yeah, well what about a nuclear sub? Huh? Huh! And they barely make a noise.

Re: Pretty cool new reverb
I don;t think a couple proverbs and a compressor are the same. You are paying for optimization, pre sets, and all the hard work the co. put into making 5 reverbs all work together. Anything can be home made of course, but to say that is equivalent to this is an overstatement.
