I'm most likely going to start using DP in a live setup again and am digging in deeper than I have in the past. I'll have three keyboards attached to MIDI ports on the MTP and also a Roland XR rackmount module. I'll have a large project file with different sequences/chunks for each song. Within the various sequences I'd like to be able to specify which other keyboard can also be directed to the XR rack module.
It would seem like creating the routings in ClockWorks would be ideal, however, I don't see how to switch between those within the DP8 program. If I just leave the rack module in record mode than all the external keyboards will play it and the MIDI tracks don't allow for an input assignment the way audio tracks do. Appreciate any tips or suggestions, thanks!
