Fermata and other notation symbols in QuickScribe?

Post by msmeritt »

Is it possible to add a fermata in QuickScribe? How about other notation symbols beyond chord symbols, the "arrangement" symbols (D.C., Fine, endings, etc.) or the various things DP does automatically?

I'm using DP 7.24.

You can do some clever work-arounds to get some of the things you are after.

You can use some combination of text boxes, markers, and 3rd party music typefaces (fonts) to put some symbols where you need them. Accents & staccato marks are not available and not easily done. For those, I always printed out the part and marked them by hand.
