Soundbites List - Highlight multiple from SE?

Post by cbergm7210 »

Methinks I am overlooking something obvious here, but...

In Pro Tools (which I hardly use, only in getting sessions into DP from clients) I Consolidate, then select all the tracks, open the PT version of Soundbites, and all the selected sound files are highlighted so I can then choose the export command and do all of them at once.

In DP I routinely use the Select This Soundbite In The Soundbite List commands, but how would one highlight all the tracks in the SE or TO, and then have them selected in the Soundbite List as in PT so one could do a batch export, for example?

Hi There,

After selecting all the needed tracks in TO or SE, just press Ctrl/Alt/Cmd & L.
This should open the soundbites window with all the -selected- tracks hilighted.
I don't know why but I often have to re-select all the tracks in TO or SE when the sounbites window has opened...an do the same thing (Ctrl/Alt/Cmd & L)
It's a real time saver when exporting consolidated audio tracks to another DAW.
Sorry for my English;-)
Regards,

SPY.

Thanks for the reply!

When performing that command, it only highlights one Soundbite in the Soundbite Window, not all that was selected. I use that command all the time, but is there a way to highlight all the Soundbites that are selected?

Ah. Added feature. I'll add it to my list of reasons to upgrade.

Hello & Happy Christmas to All,

Is There a Shortcut in DP8.07 to do this Topic contrary: A way to Highlight Soundbite in SE from the Soundbites Window?
I remember reading about it in this forum but i can't find it in the Commands List in DP8
Nor in the Manual.
'been searching the internet...the Ctrl/ALT/CMD/L is everywhere but i'd just want
To select a soundbite in the SW and see it in the SE...

Many thanks,
Best from Paris.
