Dear Community
I have some virtual instruments, that are a bit late back (Hollywood Strings for instance). The normal approach for me would be to offset the notes a bit, so they start earlier. This comes with some side-effects however. For instance, when starting playback at bar 2, and the note starts just a little bit before it, it does not play back (maybe event chasing does the trick, but it's still not played from the top). Also, quantisation can't be fully used.
In Logic there is a way of defining a negative MIDI delay (offset) for each track separately. This way, I can quantise the notes to be tight, and every note plays a bit earlier.
Can this be achieved in DP as well?
Cheers
Remo

Thanks! Never thought of a MIDI plugin!
