Right. You just have to look at it with the right frame of mind... not like it's decimal math. Normally when I see .5 I think that's a larger number than .15, because that's how my mind is conditioned to see those things. I have to remember they're version numbers.bayswater wrote:The numbering seems OK to me, as long as you allow two digits. "15" is more than "5". Like OS X 10.9 versus 10.10.

Re: Eventide free plugin
The app PluginUpdate indicates that I have to update to a newer version because of how it's reading the numbers.

Re: Eventide free plugin
I went into my Eventide User Account to check for updates and found downloads for all except Ultrachannel. Huh?
It turns out that, since it was a freebie when introduced, there was no serial number and it was never (and cannot be) registered. So I did some searching.
The latest update of all Eventide's plugins can be found here:
https://www.eventideaudio.com/support/downloads
The direct link to Ultrachannel 2.2.5 download is here:
https://www.eventideaudio.com/support/d ... _value=All
Everything loaded fine into DP 9.
Whew!

Re: Eventide free plugin
Yes but all Eventide plugs require iLok. Only the ones with serial numbers show up in my Eventide user account with direct download links, however. My initial concern was that Ultrachannel didn't because of the way I got it. I knew there had been an update or few but I couldn't figure out how to download it.bayswater wrote:On iLok, isn't it?mikehalloran wrote:It turns out that, since it was a freebie when introduced, there was no serial number and it was never (and cannot be) registered.
I posted in case anyone else was in the same boat or didn't know that there had been updates. The 2.2.5 update is recognized by my iLok so all is good.
