Interesting. What page, by chance? I just tried and had the same issue. Well you might just have to click the contextual menu and choose "Notation Editor." That worked. Well, SHIFT-N isn't that hard to do with one hand.

Opening the Notation Editor is the least of its problems. It's the one area of DP I'd love to see more fully developed and which never seems to get any love.
