Cue Mix has always been a complete mystery to me as I normally record old style with a 32 input desk and two 24io's via MacPro 424e card. Ive noticed that none the less I can still see and can boot CMfx but see no Input Mixes or Output Tabs on the top of the mixer window.
What I'm even more concerned about is the same is true for my portable firewire rig on my 828 MK2, no tabs...can anyone tell me why. I've never been able to see the tabs with my 828 mk2.
I'd really like to be able to send these mixes to my 16 channel cue boxes but right now to no avail..

There are no tabs in CueMix for the 828mkII. You control all functions from the main window and select mix buses from the dropdown selection on the far right titled MIX. There's no DSP so no need to have the tabbed interface.

Many thanks for your reply and clarification, I've been chasing that down for a couple of years now...I'd imagine the MK3 was the first that showed the tabs in the console as it does have DSP functions correct?
