VBC On Sale
Hi,
I noticed that Slate was having a sale on their Virtual Bus Compressors, half off.
What's the good word from those who have used VBC for awhile?
I shouldn't even consider it since FG-X isn't 64 bit yet and a bus comp as well, but you know.....

This is the price at which I would begin to consider this plug. Where's Kubi?

CLANG -- aaand my wallet loses 1 hit point. Aggh! Must… resist….
My concern with these was always that I would just be re-buying a good software compressor in a different flavor. But as the price drops, I can start to think about ease-of-use.
Does this thing deliver better results with greater ease than, say, the Brainworx comps - Vertigo, Elysia?

Now somebody else please pile on and tell us how good the Softube Tube Tech CL-1B compressor is, since it's also on sale at a very good price.

Re: VBC On Sale
VBC is a must have for me.. The first time I heard the Focusrite Red emulation across my 2-buss, I knew I had made a good decision!

Bought it. Like it. Just used it on one project before hitting the road for awhile, but it was enough to give VBC thumbs up.
