I am still working on a Quad Core 2.66 MacPro1,1 running 10.6.8. Its a great system.
I want to install Mountain Lion OS7 so I can run Kontakt. Has anyone out there made this upgrade and experienced poor results such as bad performance etc. Any success stories with a similar setup upgrade? Mountain Lion is OSX 10.8.6. 10.7 is Lion.
I upgraded from 10.6.8 to 10.8.6 last fall
and its been great. I'm on a 2010
Quadcore 2.8Ghz. No problems to
speak of. As a matter of fact I am happy
I did not upgrade to OSX Mavericks (10.9)
and have no intention of doing so.
Maybe OSX 10.10 (when it is released this fall)
will be better than 10.9. I dont know.
