playback question

Post by nickysnd »

I want to hear the notes when I click on the events, when I playback from the middle of a long note, and when I drag the cursor back and forth. Where are the settings for this?

Should simply be the speaker icon in the control panel AFAIK. If the sound modulates over time, however, the device creating it might not be able to do anything but simply start the note from the beginning, so just be aware of that and all else should be fine.

That's it, thanks!

One problem though, doesn't work on stylus rmx tracks... Any thoughts?

Don't use stylus? I don't so I have no thoughts on that. Also note that using the track selector in a series of tracks (MIDI or audio or mixed) you can select just what you want to hear and hit opt-spacebar to playback just that selection. Adding and removing tracks is about as easy as muting and might offer a less cluttered appearance when solving a score.
