I found a command once which played any selected soundbite

Post by zandurian »

I found a command once which caused any selected soundbite to play in whatever screen it was selected in (ie without having to go to soundbites window or anything). Cannot remember and too many things come up when searching pdf :(

Sometimes that command gets stolen by OS X for Spotlight purposes. You can steal it back by going to System Preferences / Keyboard / Shortcuts. It may be under Spotlight or something else. Just go through the various options looking for any command that may have stolen that keyboard binding, then turn it off or change the binding.

Thanks guys. I had a weird issue on the song I was working on. When doing the option space-bar to play my selected soundbites (short peices of a vocal track) the guitar track (which is just one of many tracks) plays along IN TIME with the vocal. Actually was great since it gave me a reference I needed but why the heck does the guitar track sound?
