You know, MIDI controller 11 (or any controller, for that matter). When I do it, I seem to delete the note data that's already in the recipient track. I just want to copy the controller data. I can't figure it out.
Thank you,
Mike
How do you copy Expression Data to another track?

Use the View Filter to see only what you want to copy (e.g., Expression).
Copy it.
Go to your target track and use Merge (instead of paste).
Return View Filter as it was (you can save/recall different user settings)
Keep working...

Yaaayyy!!! Thanks so much. You'd think it might be easier to do. Anyway, I'm happy.
Thanks, FMiguelez!

You can even skip the view filter step when getting what you need is only one CC or it's easy to get it.
For instance, if you want to copy all your CC #11, simply double click on one dot. This will select all expression points in this track. Copy them and merge as needed.
The VF works great for more complex selections.

Hmmm? I thought I tried that, but obviously I screwed it up somehow because it didn't work. Well, it's nice to know that you don't need to involve the view dialog for something as simple as that.
