Quick question: nudging MID notes up/down in graphic editor
I'm using DP 8.05 and would like to be able to select a MIDI note in the Graphic Editor and tap a key or key combo to nudge the pitch up or down by one semitone. Right now the up down arrows don't work for this (changes record enabled track). I've tried other modifiers, but nothing is pre-assigned. Is there a command for this?

As is often the case, all I have to do is post about it, and seconds later I find it.

Thanks for the follow up. You can probable change that in the COMMANDS window as well.

Yeah, exactly. If you want to use the up/down arrows, do it! Just remove them from their other assignments.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Thanks for the follow up. You can probable change that in the COMMANDS window as well.

I haven't found a way to search by the key-combi's themselves. Surely, there is a way.

I use the search feature at the top of the page, but if you mean the actual KEYS, there is no way except to scroll the list. That would be useful to have.

The way I "search" for a keyboard binding is by typing it into an unused command. DP will either accept it (if it's not being used) or it will ask you if you want to use it since other commands are using it. It lists the other commands. You can then decide if the other commands are things you use, or if you'd do well to remove the keyboard bindings from them.

Oh right, I use that trick as well. Thanks for the reminder.

That should go on the TIPS sheet (if it isn't there already).
