List of Plug-Ins/VI's that are still 32-bit only

As Fabrice Gabriel is working on a new 64-bit engine for the Slate Digital stuff and released a major 64-bit overhaul and upgrade to AirEQ, I think we can safely assume his own Eiosis-branded plugs will be available in 64-bit mode fairly soon (hopefully by year's-end at the latest).

As far as I can tell, NuGen Audio has abandoned the free LineUp channel swapper and mono-izer tool (it also supports buffer offset and DC Offset, along with Invert Phase). I'm pretty sure this freebie's features are fully covered by other tools -- even free ones or ones bundled with DP -- at this point in time.

iZotope Vinyl is another freebie that hasn't gone 64-bit yet. Not sure they have incentive except for it gets good reviews so they may want to continue with it or offer a paid version at some point. As Trash was just updated (and significantly so), maybe Vinyl is next.

Novation FX Suite (geared towards the needs of keyboardists vs. guitarists or producers) is not 64-bit yet and isn't even listed on their downloads page anymore; altho0ugh the product page itself is still up.

Maybe it's been "replaced" by one of the Focusrite-branded effects suites?

OTOH it is quite recent that BassStation and V-Station were updated to 64-bits.

Correction: you have to change the drop-list to say Novation FX Suite vs. "All", for it to show up in the downloads, but it is still at version 1.2 (32-bit-only).

Someone else announced in the G-Force 64-bit topic that IK Multimedia are working on Sonik Synth 64-bit (and all the products that use that engine, such as Miroslav Philharmonik, SampleTank, SampleTron and SampleMoog). I think end-of-summer was the expectation.

NUSofting's website hasn't been updated in eons and has had no product updates since 2011 as far as I can tell, with no announced intention of moving to 64-bits.

I've moved on from all of their products by now, as fun as they were at the time, but still enjoy playing with physically modeled alternatives to sample libraries occasionally (and more than occasionally when it comes to woodwinds and brass).

Peavey ReValver (guitar amp modeling and effects suite) won't make it to 64-bits on the Mac until Version 4 comes out, which will be a complete rewrite as the old version was written using wxWidgets cross-platform GUI toolkit and that isn't compatible with 64-bit architectures. Therefore I assume the eventual 64-bit port will require an upgrade fee.

As far as I can tell, Overloud never took over the D-6 Filter (for the Hohner Clavinet) that Scarbee previously offered as a separate plug-in from the keyboard effects suite (which they did take distribution of, and which was ported to 64-bits fairly early).

Sonimus SonEQ has not been updated to 64-bits. As far as I can tell, neither have SONiVOX' Aria-based products such as Sampla.

Bizarrely, Waldorf Edition is available in 64-bit if you write to them to get the installer (with some sort of proof of purchase) -- according to their listed system requirements and a KVR topic. Yet the enhanced separately-sold V2 of PPG Wave 3.V is still 32-bit only! Neither is Largo listed as 64-bit yet.

Not sure I'll bother with the hassle of finding proof of purchase for Waldorf Edition (most of my installation discs were ruined when I moved last summer due to having to leave them outside while shuffling the new house and an unexpectedly early start to the rainy season). I use Attack all the time, but can host it in VE PRO. I find D-Pole interesting but rather extreme so I've played with it but not used it in a project yet. I use PPG Wave all the time, but the newer version which is still 32-bit-only anyway.

Fortunately Lector (the vocoder) was ported to 64-bits early.

I sent Waldorf an inquiry email to see whether it is worth taking a tremendous amount of time trying to track down old receipts etc. to prove ownership. Could have sworn I registered everything, but they've changed their website a few times and I think when some vendors do that all registration info is lost (this has happened to me with other vendors).

Looks like Way Out Ware's KikAXXE (mini-sequencer designed to match TimewARP's functionality to the Arturia emulation of the ARP 2600) never made it to 64-bits, and their 64-bit port of TimewARP is still in beta after all this time (I get serious spikes when I use it and have to turn down my speakers plus attenuate many usages by -28 dB or more).

Finally, WaveMachine Labs says on their FAQ's page that they are planning a 64-bit version of Drumagog, but that's as far as it goes.

It's a real bummer that both Drumagog and Slate Trigger are still stuck at 32-bits, but I can use them in standalone mode anyway, and frequently use them that way vs. as plug-ins (as drum replacement is often an off-line task in my workflow).

WHat about Reason 3.01? Does one have to upgrade to Reason 6?

Waldorf have confirmed that PPG Wave 3.V and Largo are in the process of being converted to 64-bit and are expected later this year (the older version of PPG Wave that is part of Waldorf Edition is already ported).

Ohm Force have updated all of their plug-ins to 64-bit. I don't use them, but many here do, so I thought I'd let people know.

112dB have just updated Big Blue Compressor and Big Blue Limiter to 64-bits, with gigantic brand-new GUI designs to boot.

antares harmony engine evo is still 32 bit.....
bummin about that and slate trigger, i thought drumagog updated to 64 bit, but i guess not
