Hey there- I'm sorry if this has already been posted but I just saw that Magic Dave has a new book out published by Hal Leonard called "The Power in Digital Performer"! I just ordered it as I'm always sure to learn new stuff from MD! Here's an Amazon link:

The amazon prime site had 9 books but now they have 8, if any one can show me new tricks it will be Dave so I got one.

Something's fishy. We've been buying up these supposedly few copies, yet the number hasn't really gone down, in fact, it's gone up a couples times. Also, how the hell do they have used copies of a book that hasn't even been out a month, and takes a few weeks to ship? Not to mention, who would want to re-sell a manual?

That's a lot of promos. Maybe we have to wait for a print run. I've read that a lot of books are printed in very small runs now, depending on demand. Still want the e-book version.

I dunno- you guys may be over thinking this! The Amazon site initially said there were 2 copies in stock but more were on their way soon when I first saw this so maybe more have arrived from Hal Leonard? I ordered one from an independent discounter via Amazon for $11 + shipping and I just got an email from Amazon saying it's shipped and I should receive it in about a week.
As far as e-books, I'm not sure if Hal Leonard does e-books, etc. Maybe they do, I'm just not sure...

Anyway, I'll report back here when I get it and let you know if I learned anything earth-shattering about DP! (Like Shooshie's report about Record Hits- if only I knew!!!)
