Is there such a thing? Can I create one? I just want to easily add a marker while recording my guitar playing after each take.

There is, and you can. Just check the Commands window and see what it's assigned to..do a search for the word "marker." You can change it to whatever you want within that window.

I think I already tried that and shift + K is the command to open the Markers window, but that will not set a marker, you have to manual click on the arrow to set a marker. I may have the older version of DP, have not done the free upgrade so perhaps they fixed that??

Opening the Markers window is one of the commands. Search for the Command called "New Marker." Mine is set to "Control-M." I don't recall if that's a default command, or one that I edited myself.

Thanks, Dan. :)

It's my favorite guitar in the whole, wide world...a 1979 Ibanez Artist AS-200 Semi-Hollow. Nothing like it. 8)

By the way, your avatar is one of my favorites; especially since it's really your family...beautiful!
