Can bar length be adjusted and notes moved in Quickscribe?

I have created a transcription of a song that has a lot of long chords but there are quite a few words associated with each chord. I don't know how to get the lyrics to fit under a chord because, each time I press space to add the next word, the cursor is positioned under the next chord in the song.
Is there a way to adjust the physical length of a bar and move notes right or left without actually changing the timing, i.e, purely "engraving" stuff?
I bought Sibelius recently as one can do this kind of thing there but Sibelius does such a lousy job importing a MIDI file from DP (even one perfectly quantized) that I gave up and am now just trying to do this directly in DP.
Thanks,

On the QS editor right click. options. measure spacing. make less dense.
Try that!

I'll take a look. Does that work for individual bars or is it a global option?
I discovered that if I insert lyrics in Logic Pro, the individual bars (and notes) move appropriately for things to fit properly, so now I'm using DP to input the music in the first place and edit it, and then Logic Pro to insert the lyrics.

Well it'll be across the score so all the bars are still alined. Hopefully DP8 will have a fix for it...
