Hi.

I read in many discussions about new DP5 VI's that many people have a lot of VI's and free plugs....
Does anyone want to drop here his list of preferred free stuff?
Can we try to build a free stuff tipsheet?

Hoping in your contribution ;)

You might enjoy these very useful Freeware synths. I use them in DP with no problems and they're quite decent......RC

i seen these the other night... i have a question though... when would you use these if you run a UAD card or other high-end processors? they look great and i was interested but i cant find any reviews or personal reasons based on what i see to download them, except that they look great :)

Take a look here.

They have an online database of plug-ins and you can sort them by various criteria. I found quite a good batch of free plug-ins this way.

I made this a sticky since this might be helpful to new users trying to find an inexpensive way to build their plug collection.

GUI is quite nice. Never had it crash in DP. I don't remember having to double click on anything -- knobs and single click switches.

Of course, your mileage may vary . . . for example I could never get automat to work on my system, although most people here have nooooooo problem. . .too bad, because the demos sound fantastic

Don't forget the fabulous Inspector, by Elemental Audio:

I also find RMS Buddy by Destroy FX useful:

Andrew Garber's Warp Drive is a simple yet useful distortion plug:

And lastly (for this post, anyhow) Fuzz Plus by Audio Damage is a good one to have on hand:

Another vote of confidence for King Dubby here. I've used it for quite some time with no problems, it's a great plugin.
