I got so excited I almost jumped out of my fur, then I realised they're all for Windoze.

Is this one of those embarrassing surprises you spoke of in another thread?
It's difficult to imagine a fallen hobbit, so I hope the remaining revelations are equally as benign...

Some of thesse may have already been mentioned-- but if you are in search of freebies you have to really do a little clicking around to find what you want.

Sorry I didn't have the gumption to parse out all the Mac-only goodies, but those listed above are certainly well worth the link and the price.

Thanks, Hobby. Hope I didn't sound ungrateful.

It would seem the excitement of the potential Mother Lode blew a circuit or two.

Free Panning Plugin...

It's designed to be a universal panner for any DAW. Allows you to control the PAN laws quite a bit.

FXpansion re-released a free synth called Orca, now available for AU and VST, Universal Binary. Working good here!
You need a (free) user account to download it from www.fxpansion.com

Please pardon my ignorance, but I haven't been using OS X that long. What is the difference between a VST reverb and an AU? I am not pleased with the reverb that comes packed with DP and am looking for something else that won't break the bank. (Alltiverb sounds nice, but $600 isn't in my budget.

Hi Klaus

I downloaded it as it looks interesting but it doesn't pass DP 4.61 inspection process has anyone got this working.

Cheers

Vertex Multi-Inspector Free

From the folks who brought you FaderWorks.

The deal is to place multiple instances on individual tracks and it will color code them into one plug-in window view. Looks like it could be useful for seeing where tracks are masking each other. Haven't installed yet.

I think James Steele mentioned this in another thread, but I'll risk redundancy.
ToonTrack released the free EZPlayer plugin. It works as a MIDI browser for drums (browse, audition through drum plugin, drag-drop into sequencer), and can remap on the fly to a variety of drum instruments (ToonTrack's, of course, as well as Battery, BFD and more).
My quick tests in DP 5.11 with EZDrummer have been fun and fast to use. BFD and Battery tests to come when I get more time.

Apulsoft has recently been busy porting some plugins to universal binary:
Cheeze Machine, SupaPhaser, Chip32, C3 Multiband Compressor, and Crayon Filter.
Donationware, but free to download and use.
