Unable to mount volume from library/application support etc.

Post by Guillaume »

Hey,

i just got BPM and installed it on my Macbook Pro running mac os 10.4. I put the .ufs files in library/application support/MOTU/BPM as said in the online manual but for some reason BPM cant find the soundbanks. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could tell me what I did wrong or how to manually select the soundbanks. Thanks!

Allright I moved the .ufs in my system's library not in the user's, but the sounds wont load up even if bpm seems to find the soundbank. Any help would be greatly appreciated cause i cant get any sound out of it as of now.

Try putting the UFS files in /Library/Application Support/MOTU/BPM/Sounds/.

The browser is still empty even though I don't get the unable to mount volume error. I've read that deleting some preferences files might help but I can't find those in the preferences folder or when I search for "com.motu.bpm.plist". Do you know where they might be?

Are you keeping the iLok connected? The iLok needs to stay plugged in the whole time, i.e. you can't disconnect it after launching BPM — the iLok is needed to authorize the sound library as well as the plug-in itself.
