Problems updating elec keys
by redline1.com » Tue Aug 11, 2009 6:02 pm
Hello,
I have had Motu Elec Keys for about a year. Yesterday I checked their website and saw an update. I uninstalled, as it told me to, and attempted to load the new version. It simply would not open the app. I then attempted to load the disc from the box. I can now open elec keys as both a stand alone and as a vst, but when I double click to load a sound the load screen is blank. I still have the entire sample library, but it is not seen by the program anymore.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you,
Michael

The soundbank UFS files, or aliases to them, should be placed in here so Electric Keys can find them:
/Library/Application Support/MOTU/ElectricKeys/Sounds/
/Library/Application Support/MOTU/ElectricKeys/Sounds/
"I don't see any method at all, sir."

Hi,
I think you should not have set up of sound files.First of all you should updated the files then after all the files are in that folders are available.
Thanks for sharing this information.
