iLoc licensing

iLoc licensing

If I buy a 2nd hand Ethno with the iLoc it's registered to do I need to transfer the license with MOTU also ?

I don't think so. When I sold my copy of MSI, I had to pay iLok a fee to transfer the iLok license to the new owner, and I think that settled things (the new owner had to open an iLok account so I could do a direct transfer of the license, and then they drag that license onto their iLok in the iLok.com website's GUI tools).

It is always good to register with MOTU anyway, for support. It used to be required (at least for their hardware) but I think these days it's more a courtesy and also as I said just so they have you in their records so that if you call for a support question maybe things go a bit faster.
