Motu 828 mkII firewire and iMac late 2015

Hey guys , new to the board, I am trying to connect my 828mkII firewire to my iMac which doesn't have firewire just thunderbolt or usb , what would be the best way to connect it if possible..

Your mkII FW cannot connect via USB. Use the Apple Thunderbolt to FW adapter and a FW400-FW800 cable.

Download the latest Audio drivers from MOTU.com. If you use the MIDI port, download the MIDI driver, too.

If you have a FireWire multi port-hub, do not use it.
