I am considering attempting to resurrect an old G4 to run my copy of Digital Performer. Sadly, because of hard drive corruption it does not appear my install of DP is usable to even there at all. I'll need to find my discs (this is where never throwing stuff like that away could pay off). I seem to recall I had 2.43? Some catastrophic life events have erased some memories, apparently along with the program itself!
I made a switch to PC and Cubase many years ago, but would love to re-experience one feature of DP, namely spectral effects. Can't afford to get a full version for windows at this time. Just. Cant. Plus I dont know if that feature was changed in any way, such as rewritten or "improved" codecs/algorithms.
So before I go on and on, I want to make sure Ive put my post in the right place. Thanks in advance!

Re: where to post re: legacy versions of DP?
I'd post in the Mac/DP troubleshooting area (usually the second from top).
