UltraLite AVB guitar inputs vs line inputs

Since I'm having an acoustic electric guitar connected to one of my guitar inputs I'm wondering if it's possible to connect a guitar amp output (the signal from my electric guitar amplifier) to one of them as well. Is it safe to do so or do I have to use one of the line inputs instead? I don't quite understand the difference between the two types of inputs. Is it just a level issue?

Resolved by the MOTU Support: In short that could damage the inputs.
