112D and Logic Pro crashing I/O Labels

Post by formula101 »

I'm trying to open I/O Labels in Logic Pro 10.3.1 (problem also occurs in 10.3.0) but Logic crashes every time I try and select that menu item. Problem goes away if I select my built in output device, so I'm wondering if it has something to do with my MOTU 112D. Anyone else run into this issue?

Hi. I own also a 112D and had as I remember also issues with the I/O labels. They were not represented accurately in Logic...

Ast the moment I am not in the studio but will check asap and let you know.

On which system you are working?

And what browser are you using for the motu-control?

best, Frederic

The i/o labels I get in DP9 (OS Sierra) in their output select column is completely whackadoodle. Labels I never inputted in the configuration process of the 112D just pop up for no reason. My firmware IS current ( 4/7/17)
