Click Track Recording Through ADAT Connected Input

I have a bizarre problem I can't figure out. When recording audio tracks through a preamp connected to my 896mk3 via ADAT lightpipe I am getting a recording of my click track in addition to my audio. The output of the click track is set properly so I'm not sure why this is happening. When recording through my primary interface, this does not happen.

My set-up is as follows:
Mid 2015 MacBook Pro
Logic X
MOTU 896mk3 interface
Universal Audio 4-710d preamp connected to MOTU via ADAT
Clocking to Universal Audio 4-710d via ADAT Optical A

I used this same set-up with my previous MacBook and Logic 9 with no issues. Any ideas would be appreciated.
