MOTU 828x split 1/4" outputs to mono

Post by dilznik »

Hi,

I just got an 828x. I want to be able to have the 1/4" outputs on the back each be their own track out of Logic and into my mixer. As in I want Analog 3 to be a bass track, Analog 4 to be a keyboard, Analog 5 to be a click track. They're mono so I just need the ability to pick Analog 3 and not Analog 3/4 in Logic.

I see how to do it for the analog 1/4" inputs (just set them to mono) but I can't find how to do it for the outputs.

Thanks.

Seems like a Logic issue; in DP it is easy to send signal to a single mono output on an 828.

This comes up now and then. Logic handles output differently but I don't remember what you have to do. I tried to search for it here but can't find it. Is it in the manual?
