I've been posting stupid questions all morning. Sorry for that.
I recorded two CDs with Logic / MOTU. It's been 4 years and I don't remember so many things. Thanks for answering questions. I think I have a bad firewire cable from 400 to 800. Just ordered a new one. I think that explains why Logic isn't recognizing MOTU and the error message. Hopefully a new cable will fix this.

On the off chance you have crashed your FW bus, reset the PRAM / NV RAM.
