LCD on MOTU Ultralite too dim

How do you increase the brightness on the LCD screen?
It's so dim I can't read anything.

That sounds like a hardware problem - I would call or write MOTU and set up a service RMA if it is in warranty still. (Or for $99 they will replace the unit with a refurbished one). If it is fading now, it will eventually fade entirely.

They are supposed to be very, very bright.

If the unit is an older one they do no longer support with the $99 repair deal, see this post on how to replace the LCD yourself:

Re the YouTube link in the post above (which I made a few years back and which isn't really all that helpful), I've just posted a new version which I think UltraLite users will find to be much better. I managed to get my dim screen fully bright again, without replacing it. :D Here's the link:
